Hey!!!!

Now what types of horses or Ponies do you ride or own? What are they like, and what breed are they?? And tell us a little about them too.

My Horses:

Show name- Belle Starr and Happy Go Lucky.

Barn name- Belle and Happy.

Breed- Dutch-warmblood cross and a Throughbred.

Type- Mare and Gelding.

Info- I leased Belle. She was a really good girl. I got reserve champion on her in jumpers! But, then she got sold. (She was also for sale) Now that she got sold, I have been riding this horse named Happy until I find a horse to lease. I took him to wine country at got 2nd out of 30-35 people in my low AA hunters!!!! Happy was a race horse, he did like 1 or 2 races, but he was too slow. lol!

Breed- Quarter Horse

Type- Gelding

Info- OT isn't mine, he's my trainer's, but I ride him. He's a 9 year old (I think) QH gelding, 15.1hh, and is sorrel/dun in color. He's a western pleasure horse, but I ride him english. He's very sweet and willing. He has EPM, but will do anything you ask of him, including jump 2'6, like he did for me a few days ago. He is very trusting in his humans. I hope to show him in the near future.

Info- well lets see i got timmy in augest og 2004 and a got zeppo on may 15 at 5:35!
timmy2 is the best medium pony ever he has a get show recourd and has won the zone 10 champion ship! but that was not with me it was with is very first owner! but i havae done preaty good myself with him (i geuss) lol but on 17th he was really up for sale!:( but i still get to ride him for now!

zeppo is well my first large pony! we have done great! pebble was like are first real show and we did not to greart the all the compo. down there but i thought we did great! at wine country we won a class i was very happy! all my freinds did good to l! :D

Well, my horse's name is Rio, he is an arab cross, black and white pinto, 14'3'' hands, can jump up to 4' foot (in his best shape). He is very sweet, kind of hyper, a little spooky. Fast, loves food, cross country and gaming. I love him!

I ride this awesome Paint mare named Cheyenne during lessons, she is so sweet! She is colored almost identical to Hidalgo!!!!!
She's 15.2 but her neck is like as thick as something REALLY thick so she seems really tall. Well, she's taller than me at her withers.
She has a smoooooth trot for me to post to and is a very good girl. :D

I bought him for several reasons. When I went to try him out, the girl took him out of the stall, put him in the aisle and didn't attach him to the crossties. This Irish Setter thing goes bounding in-and-out of his legs barking, and he was more focused on (me) this new person! When I got on and set him up to a gym line, his ears went up and he flew over it. I was used to horses that backed off the fence, but he absolutely attacked it. He's definitely the favourite at the barn, he's got the sweetest disposition. He's the sweetest gentleman, and he loves kids and foals. I sound like a proud mommy :P My dad and I have already decided that he's got a permanent home with us <33

Info-- I got Dub on November 29th from Lumpy Kilham. He was a school pony that was REALLY over weight, unhappy, and lonely!! We looked at another horse there that was called Domino, but no likey!! My trainier asked if they had any other horses/ponies there. So we got Dublin. Let me also add he was traded from his owner ( a 16 yearold) for a big jumper mare. He was sad..........until he found me!!!

Info: I got TimeTime on October5th 2003 and i was really surprised. I had found out at a schooling show and we had won 7 firsts and 2 seconds and 2 Champions and i really loved him! He is 13.2 hands and he is Sorrel. He is the sweetest pony ever. I LOVE YOU PONY!!!!

Info: George is a semi-retired PSG dressage horse. His movements were not as flashy or elastic as a WB as he got older so they started using him as a school horse. Before this, he was an open jumper (4-5 ft) and very successful. This was in the early 90s into the mid 90s then the dressages insued. I school on him in dressage up to 4th level and we are slowly getting back into jumping. He's a really great horse, extremely stellar. And great with my kids. But even at 19, he will still give the occassional buck or try to bolt with new riders.

Breed Welsh/Connemara and Welsh/ QuarterPony
Gender: Both Geldings

Info: Acorn is a 13.0 1/2 hh buckskin gelding, he is 11 y/o. He has cleared 3'9" in a high jump contest before. Acorn is the leading medium pony in NorCal (not updated yet, though, urgh!), Acorn has been champion or reserve in every single show this year (except Pebble Beach Classic). Pepperoni is a 14.2h paint gekding. He is also 11 y/o. Pepperoni has shown 3'6" in jumpers. Last year he was Pony Jumper CHampion at Menlo CHarity Horse Show. He did very well in the overall standings. I do not show Pepperoni yet, but i will next year.
