well than some typing classes would be helpful.
slow down and reread what you kids are writing. it's painful to my eyes to see that many typing mistakes on one post.

all i said was slow down when you type. so you make less errors so more of us can read your posts. "kid speak" and typing errors really make it hard to understand what you are trying to say. so just slow down and reread. :D

To Pony Hunters 101-
Skip N Hide uses the internet lingo that I am still learning, and I am glad she does, as it helps me to learn with every post. There will be many more posts with this lingo, and many other posts with typo mistakes, BE PATIENT!! Perhaps you should learn to compliment rather tahn critize, it would be better for your relationships with others and yourself. Helps with horses as well!! No one wants to be criticized when they didn't ask for your opinion or they are not paying you for it.
To Beth-
Excellent tips! I will need this help when my girls start showing. Thanx! (and I meant to spell it that way!!)
Brightest blessings to all!

Well, for starters, I think you meant to spell 'then' rather than 'than' in your post, so I guess we all make mistakes, hmm? And internet lingo, or whatever you call it, isn't really hard to understand, and if you are on the net it might help to just learn it. I am long in the tooth, and I am learning it... Learn something new, every chance you get, I say.
Whatever is hardest to do, then do it with all your heart!!
Blessings!

Thank you, DarkChylde. There is nothing wrong with internet lingo. I use it frequently. Its not very hard, if you read it out loud it sometimes sounds like what it means. For example, 'c u l8er' is 'see you later.' If you have any trouble reading it just ask. Sometimes your not the only one who doesn't understand. But don't just come out and criticize. No one makes friends by criticizing. So like I said just ask and we will be glad to clarify for you. TTYL!!!! :D

Thank you for seeing my point! I dnt always type shorthand or in internet lingo but when you want to reply to something on a site and you spend way too much time on the compo already doing veterinary care assistants assignment work... it tends to take it all out of you! I do tend to correct my mistakes... i jst like that really! It will become more natural to you the more you type... even if it is 1000 word case studies usually when u have to spell everything correct its really easy to go from one to the other!
I love ur point about critizism... well said i say! :p Thanks again!
Oh and you will usually notice that when im in a better mood and not stressed with all the work for college i need to do, i tend to type properly lol! :D

Well thank YOU for helping ME learn something new! In fact, sociologists are saying that in a few decades that kind of abbreviated writing will be the norm, and how I am writing and spelling will be as outdated and obsolete as the King James English is to us now! So I guess we all may learn it before too long...
As for criticism, that is a subject I know all too well. I am the recently retired Queen of Condemnation and Judgement, but rather than face the fact I was a miserable person from being so critical all the time, I was in denial, calling myself a 'fixer.' Truth is, I needed to 'fix' my perceptions. I am sorry now that I wasted so many, many years focusing on my flaws and everyone else's. No way to live life, let me tell you! To be critical is to be miserable, and lousy company besides. We miss out on life itself when all we are is focussed on is imperfections, in ourselves and others. Life wasn't meant to be perfect, and now I am LOVING my imperfect life!!! I had to give up those delicious judgments first, but it was SOOOO worth it. Imperfection can be wonderful!! As a society we are far too obsessed with being perfect, looking perfect, having the perfect house and the perfect mate and the perfect kids- IT IS ALL BULLPOOP! The real perfection comes in the acceptance of ourselves and others, not in mindless nit-picking. No way to spend your time till you die, believe me!!!!
And now I shall step down from my soapbox....lol (that means laugh-out-loud, in case anyone didn't know.)
Blessings!
