Dog People Needed: Mouthy Little Puppy

I told you about me little puppy, Buddy, right?

He's mouthy as sin! If you try to discipline him, he snaps at you, bites you, and runs around like an idiot. My mom and I are working hard to correct this problem. I just feel bad disciplining him because he's little. I still do, though.

Dog people, do you know what I can do to correct Buddy's mouthy problems?

I have the same problem with my dog, Burn too! Well, he is a snapper. He loves to snap at people! lol! He just wants to play, and besides he's yong, and he will grow out of it. WRONG!!!!! My dog is now 2 years old and still doing it!

So what I am trying to say is, if your dog is a snapper, or a biter. STOP THE PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY!!!!! After he snaps or bites at you, hit him on the nose and tell him NO! Keep on doing this. You will have to re-peat your self. That means hit him everytime his does it. I tryed doing this to Burn, and it seems to help. But every dog is different, and listens to different things. my dog murphy did that 2 but we gave him toys and ever since then he never bit anyone!!

Buddy is getting better day by day, I do the NO! thing and tap him on the nose. I think he gets either mad or excited about that :mad: :rolleyes:

If he was a horse, oh lordie........
