I've noticed that there are a lot more girl riders than guy ones. Does anyone know why a lot of guys don't ride? Do they think it's weird or something? Way back when the only people who rode were guys!

i no yeah.... i agree! most of the men that u tend to see ridng are professional ones... bt surely woudnt this engourage more men? i dont no.... im confused :confused: lol :p

Why don't more men ride in general? Or english? A LOT of men ride western, but you are right, not many ride in comparison to girls. I think the breeches turn them off to be honest XD

bt arent men breeches general looser than womens? yeah you do see alot of men doin weston thou!

I think they are. Well, they should be. ;) Men are bigger built than woman, so they should be more loose.

its not a guy thing to do!! im glad guys dont ride! but they should at least apprecaite the sport a little more!! its a really expensive and hard sport to do!!! they also have a package down there!! only gay guys ride!

No! Hope and Ned are married and he rides really good! H emight even be a pro! They are married! And they are very nice. They also have a daughter named Avery!

Ya, guys should ride!! English or westurn because a lot of boys hate horses and they should get to like and ride horses!! Becuase if u like a boy, it probably hates horses so if all boys like and rode horses that would be fun

i like that alot of men dont ride because this is girl sport and guys have the other sports to worry about!!! Horses is for the girls!! and it should be that way! they do it to us with the other sports so why cant we do it to them 2!

I dont think it is right that some sports are only for girls and only for boys (i understand futbal tho). I think guys should ride just as mucha s girls. I like to play baseball and play football and play soccer and rough sports sometimes. i think guys should appreciate horses just as much! I don't think riding should be a segregated sport! it should just be for fun :) (and even when competing it should be fun!)

I agree with PeppiPoni! and also men can do sitting trot as long as they have a good seat i presume because their are alot of men in dressage... we really do need a mans opinion on this! :p

You guys are right about the football thing. It kind of depends on the girl who's playing it. With me, personally, I LOVE contact sports, it is so fun to harass the guys. When I played soccer, the guys would stop at my defense line because they were too freaked to come across, some of them. It was soooo fun being a little devil :p I still am now, if guys make when snap about 'dumb blondes' when I'm in a grump around them, guess who gets their butts chewed off. ;)

i agree-im a backyard extreme mud football fan myself. hey as long as guys dont stop me from playing their sports, they can play mine. :)
