Hiya here is some tips for dressage..

1.Plat your horses mane and tail and have a go at doing bun's in the mane.

2.polish your tack spend 5-10 munits polishing your saddle and 5-15 miniuts on the bridle.

3.wash your horse with a coat shampoo and lather fully and wash the shampoo off and try to get some mane conditioner.and after get a towel and rub it on them and after ther dry just walk them round.

4.its easer to plat manes and tails when there wet.

5.buy some coat shine wipes and fly spray.

6.if your travelling before and after check for injury or cuts.

7.put on a travel rug or a light turnout when travelling.

8.put on travelboots and a tail guard and a poll guard

9.when your travelling give your horse a haynet and fill up a water bucket.

10.after arriving take off rugs and stuff and tack-up.

11.before going into your test or class warm-up and calm down your horse.

12. Rember A Good Salute gets good marks.

13.When your walking out give a good praise.

14.After the dressage untack and put on your travel rugs and give your horse a massarge on there qauters and neck and scratch there withers

Those are nice bits of info, hun. Pretty much universal for all dressage horses'. You forgot to mention though, after your test salute you're supposed to free walk out of the arena. This is the time to pat your horse and praise them, whether or NOT you scored well. Your horse has no concept of ribbons and points, and they don't understand biased praise.

Yes and you should also free walk to the judges and say thank you or smile and give a brief nod to them before you turn and walk out, regardless of how your test went.
