Hey I dunno If Im A Good Horse Owner Am I?

1.I usualy ride 30 mins flatwork 30 mins jumping.

2.After a ride I usualy if they are hot I put on a Anti-Sweat-Sheet or a Summersheet.

3.When were jumping my horses were brushing boots or Traning Bandages.

4.Evrey day we go round the bridle path to unwind and relax evrey horse should.

5.I split up 11 and a half hours in the feild evreyday.

6.I feed them 4 buckets of Blue chip Original and Blue chip Dynamic mixted with water.

7.I give them 8 large haynets evrey day.

8.I give them Sunday and Wedensday off.

9. I give them 8 Gallons of water evreyday.

10.I groom them 6 times evreyday (In the morning and after our flatwork lesson and after they have been in the feild and after our jumping lesson and after they have been in the feild again. and before I go in my house.)

11.I get them shoed evry 6-8 weeks.

11.We go in shows 2 times a month (with evry 5 ponies)

12. I get there saddle checked evrey 3 months.

13.I give them a 6 day rest after a show (when were in 3,3 showjumping and 3,0 crosscountry and dressage any event)

14. I only wash them on warm and hot days.

15.I LOVE THEM THE BEST I CAN!

AM I A GOOD OWNER? :confused: :confused:

you do sound like a good owner, but grooming a horse 6 times a ay sounds far too much! you'll be removing all of their essential oils from their coat!! :)

i suppose it depends on how long u spend on these grooming "sessions" a quick brush over cant do much harm! as long as it not we they r sweaty... :p

I only groom them for about 10 to 15 mins evrey day ;)
