What are some of your ideas for raising money, presumably for a horse? My good ol' daddy claims that he "doesn't have any money" (ya right) so he obviously can't buy me a horse. I want to raise around $10,000. And that will probably take a long time! So, any suggestions.
Problem is: I really can't get like a "real" job. I'm only 13 and I think in Ohio you have to be 14 to get a working permit, and the hours are pretty strict on how long you can work and stuff. I would really LOVE to work at a stable. Mucking stalls, anything. I love being around horses, they make me soooo happy because most of them are really sweet and loving (like Cowboy, Cheyenne, Dusty, Joy, Kismet, Mouse, just to name a few ;) ). It just makes your day when you've had a rough time at school, go to work at the stable, and get nuzzled by your favorite horses in the barn, as your grooming them or mucking out their stall. OK, and maybe you would snotted on and stuff but clothes can be washed. :D
So, for the time being, how can I raise some money? I have a lot (around twenty) books that I need to finish, my longest being about 18 pages in small font. I was thinking of publishing a book, story, whatever you'd like to call it :p , and see what money I could collect from that. But basically it would be "just for fun" because I've always wanted to get a story of mine published.
So, my buddies of CanterCulture, any suggestions?
