Hiya people! Just wanna say iv been 2 loads of show this season and here are some tips.

1.Wash your horses or pony with stain removal shampoo & conditinor.

2.plat your horses or ponies mane and tail while its still wet.

3.buy some coat shine wipes & fly wipes.

4. damp a sponge and do the muzzle and under your horses or ponies bum!

5.buy some baby wipes and do your horses or ponies white markings.

6. buy some hoof oil and do your horses or ponies hoofs.

7.polish your saddle and bridle and leave the bit to soak in some cold water.

8. wash your numnah or saddlepad.

9. If your travelling take with you a sweatsheet or a summer rug.

10.fill up a haynet and a water bucket.

11. fill up a haynet 4 on the way back and a water bucket 4 on the way back.

12.if your doing Advanced dressage or showjumping or cross country you may have to some bandages or brushingboots.

13.Put on a fleece rug or a light turnout rug for in the trailler and don't forget some travel boots and a tail guard.

14.when you get to the show unload your horse or pony and give then a 10 min groom.

15. when your class is starting in 15 mins tack up your horse or pony and give them a quick warm up say a little trot.

16.after you class is finished give your horse or pony a pat and a treat.

17.When you have done all your classes untack and put on a sweat sheet and leave them to cool off for about 10 mins.

18.put on your travel rugs and give them there 2nd haynet and 2nd water bucket.

19.before you travel and load up look for and spraning or injury if there is and injury then put on a coolpack or gel and bandage it up or if it is bleeding rapidly call the vet imeadalety!

20. when your back at the stables or barn take off all your rugs and turn them out for 1 hour and a half.

21.at the end of the day take a little bareback long rein hack to unwind from stress.

Ya i just showed recenlty and i had to get all my stuff ready the day begfore the show and i had to only have a ligh lesson so my horse wasn't pooped. lol :)

:D That's good I always have a 15 min lesson before I go to a show so there all warmed up and ready if there class is first! :)
