Anyone ever done clay pigeon shooting?

Hi there everyone!
Just wondering has anyone ever done clay pigeon shooting? I bored so ithought I would start a new random thread! Woohoo! lol :p

Another question. Has anyone ever tried drag hunting?

I haven't tried it, when I ride Charlie in the forest there is an area called "Fantastic Days" and they do tank driving 4x4ing ect. They do some there, My dad had a go once and he said it was great as my dad is a keen shooter. When I go on my ride I see remains of some and even some whole ones. I have to give it a go one day, it might turn out to be a great stress reliever! ;)

I personally think it is gross...i think we shouldnt eat meat,or kill animals. Think about it as if you were a pig,chicken,goat,cow, any type of bird, or a horse being raised to become meat. Having dreams about you being killed and slaughtered, and then DESTINY appearing. It's sad. Why can't we all be vegetarians?

I don't eat beef or pork, but I do eat chicken. I don't eat it because I dislike the taste, not because I'm against their slaughter. It's to each their own I say. The thing is, animals don't dream, they aren't aware of what's happening. I find nothing wrong with being vegetarian, if that is your choice, I also don't think there is anything wrong with eating meat, if that is your choice, because it's normal, it's a way of life for people to slaughter and eat animals. I have no problems with people killing animals, as long as they put it to good use, for food and such, so it's not a waste.

I'm going to shut up, we should get back on topic, and make a new thread for this if we want to discuss it.

are we still on about clay pigeon shootin?!? :confused: because clay pigeon shooting doesnt actually involve any real pigeons its just a round clay disk that goes through the air and u shoot it! :p

Same thing with drag hunting, a human runner lays out a scent for the hounds to follow, no animals get killed. I wouldn't even think about doing real fox hunting, that's downright mean, inhumane, and useless.

Skip N Hide is right about CLAY pigeon shooting. It's just clay.

No animals are hurt, don't they call it skeet shooting as well, I was watching it when the olympics were on and it looked a really fun sport.

Yeah, it is called skeet shooting as well I think. I thought that when I first read the topic, but I'm not sure.

The clay things aren't chaped like pidgeons either. They are like disks and they are launched into the air and the launcher shouts "Pull" then you know the disk has benn launched and you are ready to try to shoot it.

I know yeah... the middle falls out of them sometimes too lol... weird! I think its prob called clay pigeon shooting because firstly: its made of clay adn secondly: you have preperation or simulation for shootin real pigeons! :p
