Mud Fever

I've just read that emu oil can be a real help for mud fever and is now available in the UK. Has anyone used it before for this purpose? A friend of mine in New Zealand who keeps show horses swears by the oil, but I've not heard of it being used in the UK before?

i've heard it works for a bunch of different skin problems. I've gotten a sample a few times in some show packets...they say it works on humans, too!
