Well... firstly... thank you to whoever has given Tom a carrot... he rocks and deserves them, lol!
Right back to my topic in question...
Today (boxing day) i went for a group hack at the riding school that i ride at. It's a 2 hour hack, it's the fastest of the 2 hacks availiable for this time of year! (special thing) I like to call it the boxing day dash! Lmao! When I booked it I was ment to be going on Alfie a riding school horse that I usually ride but then on Saturday when I rang up to check the time that I should be there, I was told that Alfie was lame and the I riding one of the instructor's horses called Jason... I was excited but also slightly nervous because I had never rode him and he is a proper show jumper... also last year when I went on the same sort of hack Alfie managed to get me off in the middle of the common (countryside) with a weird, excited bunny hop type thing!
Today, though, when I got there the instructor said I probably be better in her other horse, Twist, he is a Dutch and was shipped over from Holland just over a year ago and although he was five years old at the time, he still hadn't been broken in... I don't really understand why though as one of his "Grandparents" (if you want to put it that way! :p ) had won approx. 4.3 Million on the jumping circuit and one of his "parents" won just over one million in total... (I was shocked when I found this out) but my instructor took the chance on buying him unbroken by just knowing his good bloodline and temperament!
But now he is totually broken in and has matured so much... he is so brilliant! I was abit apprehensive at first but once we got going I was fine... He was such a good ride... At points we got to all go for a gallop... I had NEVER galloped so fast in my life! But I trusted him loads... he was bred for show jumping and when we was galloping... instead of going around or through the puddle... he jumped it! Lol... You didn't have to hold him back either... he was never out of control... I was like totally buzzin' the whole time!
He felt like such a safe horse and was!!! Bless his lil' cotton socks!
And this year... 1: I didn't get thrown off... 2: I didn't hit my head of a big branch and 3: My knee caps remained attached to my knees!
We got to jump water ditches and stuff too and he did them all :D
By the end of it I couldn't do rising trot lmao... my legs went funny lol... and I nearly hit the floor when I got off after 2 adrenilin filled hours... my ankle went funny :p
Such a nice horse... sooooo glad I went!!!
Wow... that really is long... AND my computer didn't go blue... yay!
Are you proud of my proper grammar and punctuation! Hehe
