Has anyone seen the newest Green Day video (Wake Me Up When September Ends) its really wierd. I'm not sure if I totally understand whats going on in the video? There is so much talking, but its hard to hear it. What are your thoughts on it?

I just saw it today. It is about the September 11th attacks.. hence the soldiers.

I saw the video. It was weird, I personally didn't like it..but then again I'm not a huge fan of Green Day -- LOL :p .

I saw it on a TV at the gym but didnt have headphones so it was a little hard to follow. I did really like it though.

I love Green Day! That song I think is one of there best on the American Idiot CD.

I HATE greenday...and i dont really watch music videos on tv...so i'll prolly never see it.

I love Green Day! And your right, it is one of the best off of American Idiot. The video is a big middle finger to the President. Pretty much all the songs on that album are.

I saw it, its super sad. I never was really a Greenday fan. My mom sort of explained it to me to what she thought. Greendays recent album seems to just be completely putting down Bush and all his decisions and stuff. Well from the video it seemed that this guy took the dignity to fight for his country. In the states if not enough people go fight for their country they will bring back the draft which they had years ago making all the men from ages... actually not sure.. 17-21?? no clue. Well they made them all go to war, either it be docters, actors anything. I sorta rambled but it made sense to me when she explained it.

Anyway, about the video... I don't get why he signed up for the army. He yells that "this is supposed to make it easier...".
