I know American members may not have even heard about Tesco... but to the UK members has any else heard about it...

Tesco is now starting to sell equestrian stuff... rugs, bridles, jods and some other stuff... some of the stuff is already being sold in the stores but more new lines are being added for July or something like that...

It says about it in "Your Horse" for anyone who reads it and you can also buy the stuff online! *Tesco equestrian gear website page* (http://direct.tesco.com/q/N.1999274/Nr.99.aspx) Have a look!

It's a weird idea but hey... if it good... who cares!

"Right... shopping list... eggs, milk... leadrope!"

Tesco did some equine things about a year ago I bought some Jodpurs and they fit perfectly and were well made. I also bought a grooming kit that is very good to. They had some in my local Tesco and my mum told me and I didn't belive her! :D I went down there and they sold quite alot of things.

I'm American, but I know what Tesco is. I think that is a really neat idea. I wish we had a place like that here.

i had no idea. followed your link. not a bad selection for starters. its nice to get some real competition in the horsey market - driving prices down on tack is something we sorely need. and if its well made gearr and not cheap imported crap that falls apart the first time you use it so much the better!!

Hi there
Yeah, I know Tesco well! but only ever buy apples and carrots for my horses there!! I prefer a trusty Equine Centre a couple of miles away to buy tack, rugs and feed. Would love to have a look at their stuff when it arrives in the Supermarket though.
