Hi! I'm new too.
I just got a new horse, named Trouble.
He's four.
I need advice though....
He's soooo hot tempered and I've been told I'm way too nice to him.
I mean, I've only ridden him 3 times and he's already bucked me off, rammed me into a gate, and really likes charging at the stupid barrels and knockin them down!!!
I've been ridin for 8 years and I've never had such a problem.

Anyways, about your trouble with Trouble...
Have you ever had anyone else try to ride him, maybe he needs someone to show him who's boss... Not saying you don't. Also, does he rear up a lot? You could get him a tie-down, which would make it nearly impossible for him to buck.

Oh, and it might help wear him out if you lunge him for about 10-15 minutes before you ride. Dont over do it, but just make him kinda tired so its not so easy for him to be Mr. Grumpy Pants.

how do you post threads?

To create a thread click on a particular forum area from the main forum index screen eg.Aisle Pary(as this is the one we are in now). Click on Aisle Party (or the area that the subject of your topic will fit best in) and this will take you to all the threads that have been created in that section. At the top of these there will be a blue button with a picture of a quill and ink bottle that says "New Thread" click on that and then you can create and post your thread.
