Just thought I would let everyone know.
Legendary trainer Ray Hunt is having a clinic in Chesterfeild, Virginia (near Richmond) from March 31 to April 2. There will be a Horsemanship Undersaddle Clinic and a Colt/Filly Starter Clinic. It will be held at Campbell Springs Farm, 12830 River Rd, in Chesterfield. Contact person is Kenny Davis at (804)769-2600 or visit shokotaequestrian.com or rayhunt.com . Classes are audited at $30 a day.
On a personal note, long before I had ever heard of Parelli or even my own idol, Pony Boy, I had seen a man roundpenning a horse on a video in the early 80s. He had a 'hot,' nippy young mare that he actually worked wonders with. I remember I really loved his system, but I wasn't able to follow his career as I took a most regretable hiatus from horses for about 17 years. Now I can see him in person, as Ray Hunt did the video, and I am excited about seeing him in person, and I am curious as to how his style has evolved over the years.
Hope to see you there!! Blessings! :D
