My horse is sick, might be colic

okay, my mother just called a few minutes earlier to tell me that marty is sick & he hasnt eaten anything all day. i dont have any details but i am really worried. the vet is on his way... im really nervous.

I wish for the best and that your horse will heal.

When you do go to the barn, stay calm. Your horse can sense you nervousness and will get more upset.

If it is colic, don't let Marty roll. Keep walking him.

I really hope the best for Marty! He will pull through!

I am very sorry to hear that your horse is ill. Happyhorse is right though...don't panic because that will make him panic as well. Just stay calm and everything should turn out fine.

when a horse at my stables stoped eating we all thought the worst. turned out he only had a upset stomach and all he needed was a bit of rest.
so dont worry.

my horse coliced once, but it wasnt too bad, but as everybody said, stay calm and dont let em' roll, we gave our horse malox max, liquid berry flavor, he was known as malox kid for a couple days!! :p ...good luck and keep us posted!!
