I board outside in the summer, so it's $300. That doesn't include farrier, lessons, vet(if needed) deworming etc.

$175 a month
includes:
turnout, bring in everyday. 7a-7p
stall cleaning everyday
feed and watering
arena and trail use..
tackroom space, ect.

its soo nice and inexpensive.

since max has special feed to keep weight on my parents do buy him a certain feed. im not sure of the cost per bag but he only eats like 1- 1 1/2 bags per month. he also gets corn oil which is really inexpensive.

at my barn the barnowner does hold my horse when the farrier comes if i can not make it out (rarely). but farrier is seperate. so i pay $20 for a trim every 6-8weeks. also same goes for vet. ANND my barn owner deworms your horse for you with 2 different rotations. it costs like 10 bucks extra but since i have a ton of dewormers from different stuff i just do it myself.

I do pay extra for lessons because across the street from my barn is another barn with a trainer that i just ride over too. Its only $25. I get lessons every wednesday so yepp.

Most board in my area is $250-$300 which is usually "wefeed, your clean and excersise" deal. So im very lucky to have found my barn, which is amazing!

Im very surprised that you guy's board is so expenseive. $300 FOR OUTDOOR? woah! lol.

I keep my horse at my house but, in the winter I board at an indoor which costs $250 for outdoor, that doesnt include supplements/farrier or anything. Full indoor is $490 and that includes blanketing, private turn out, supplements and wormer.

Board is free, since they are at my house. Just surprised at how outrageously priced some of these farriers are that you guys have. Mine charges $60 for trim and shoes (all 4) per horse. Trim alone is $25.

When I boarded at one of my old barns, it was $150 per horse, plus $15 taken off if you do your stall, and if you did more then extra would come off.

Where i am moving my horse to today it's $325.00 for full board, but she'll be living out in a big field with a big shelter and some friends. the barn has an indoor and an outdoor and all that jazz, but why keep a horse in a stall at night when it could be outside? my horse is WAAY happier being outside all the time. :)

My horse is kept at home. But food monthly can get pretty pricey, along with supplements.

It was $160 a month when people boarded horses at our place, but we now have to raise it because the food is getting too expensive, and it came with training.

Plan 1 (10' x 10' stall)
$90
Plan 2 (Stall & and feeding service, owner provides feed)
$105
Plan 3 (Stall, feeding service, 3 lbs. 10% sweet feed and 2 flakes of hay per feeding)
$185

I pay $185 a month, $25 for paddock (this thing (http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a7/Alicat979/Odis/PICT0557.jpg) ), about $45 for all 4 shoes.
