Selling a close contact or all purpose saddle with a medium or large twist??? I have a big boyand most saddle shops only make saddles w/ large twists as custom orders. Seeing as I'm NOT paying 2,500 for a custom saddle, i guess we'll have to do without :( unless any one on here happens to be selling one. :o

what's a twist? i have a 16.5 all purpose saddle but i don't know what a twist is.

well my saddle i used to use for lessons, and i rode all kinds of horses and never had a problem. only had a problem with one horse who was a 16.3 TB mare, so it's probably best suited for horses without really high withers.

I'm not sure what the technical term is but a twist is the inside distance between the two fenders (about 5 inches down from the pommel)

A small twist pinches my horses shoulders because it won't strech out wide enough.

Does that make sense??
