so lately i've been having some really obnoxious issues with my horse regarding corners... specifically the two corners at the far end of the arena when we are trotting to the right. she just like, drops her inside shoulder and scoots away!!! it is SOO frustrating!! we do circles and stuff and she's good in the other corners and in the other direction... what do i do?? i need some advice, this is really starting to get to me!

It might be her bad way. But what you could do is put barrels or cones at each of the corners and make her go around the barrel to get her to straighten up her corners.

~Bet you know one little girl who would rather go showing than shopping~

That was my thought too, my trainer does that when people have issues with corners.

my horse used to do the same thing
we started off kinda harsh about it quickly turing her towards the corner doing what we had been they right after we pass the corner turnigng him sharply inot it until he calmly and quietly passed it once he got that where he wasnt such a freak about the cornere we went to just circling in that corner until he was good with it

Does your horse do this at a walk or lope? There could be something on the other side of the fence that is bothering him. I had a quarter horse that refused to pass one part of the arena like it was haunted. He was the IDEAL horse except for this little thing. I realized that on the other side of the was a stallion in his stall that was making a ruckus. I walked him next to that wall over and over again until he paid no mind to it.
What I'm trying to say is do all his exercises at all other parts of the arena and only walk him next to those corners. Once he has no problem there jog him next to them if he still has a problem just keep walking next to them. eventually he will get the idea that nothing is going to jump out at him or that you are going to give in to this behavior.
