Hi everyone I am currently looknig for a horse to event with... I need help!!!! I've been looking around but because my price range is soo low everything I look at has been unsound...
I need a horse that wants to jump and enjoys it, also I would like a horse that is at least 15.3 hands.
I live in the New england area and do not want to buy a horse sight unseen... IF you know of anyone selling their eventing horse for cheap and the horse is 99.9% sound and is pretty young please let me know :)
thank you for your help and if you have questions for me please ask me
Felicia

there's a TB gelding at my barn that enjoys jumping and i think is pretty young, and he's pretty tall too, i forget how tall exactly but above 15.3. he's schooling 3'6" right now but like i said, likes jumping. i think she wants $5000 for him...

hey guys thanx soo much...
I have looked on equine.com and equinesite.com and dreamhorse.com and warmbloods-for-sale.com
most often the horses are somewhat lame... which kind of goes with my price range.. but you know I can get a lame horse to do eventing...
thanx again :) you guys are great

Perhaps we could be of more help if you told us your price range. Also do you have a specific breed you would like?

You should try going to http://equine.com It has horses for sale all over the world. And all kinds of breeds! I've seen a bunch of good eventers too! And all at a reasonable selling price. Most owners are willing to negotiate a price or take payments on the horses.

hey guys well I can do up to $5000 but it would be better if the horse was lower priced than that. and I do like thoroughbreds and warmbloods.. I like draft crosses if they aren't too drafty since I need something that can go at speed as well as jump well..
thanx everyone 4 your help

thoroughbred and quarter horse crosses are also good eventers.

I have a palomino mare that would make a good eventer she free jumps up to 4 and a half feet does really good in hunter undersaddle she has quite a few highpoints. she is also very well started in reining. she does flying lead changes spins and sliding stops. I want 5000 for her.
