I am on my way out of the house to go see a new pony and I will add more later but I wanted to say real quick that you might want to get a trainer to help you.

deffinitly. you can do it yourself but if you have no expierence starting young horses or ponies, you need help in the form of hands on professional help. People can offer suggestions on line, thats easy but there are so many ways to break in a horse and so many differnt tecniques that you really need somone to work with both you and the pony.

sorry I'm not more enthuastiac about breaking it yourself but you really could do alot more dammage than good. After all, trainers make a living fixing horses other people screwed up. My advice is to get some help so you and your pony can get it right the first time so you can enjoy each other later! :p

I agree with Bethfornow. If you've never broken a pony or horse before and you don't have anyone to help you, you could do more damage than good. So I would get a trainer or something to help you.
